Today I am posting about Grace. Wednesday I photographed her last day here on earth at Children’s Hospital here in Los Angeles. Grace was 9 months old. She was diagnosed with a heart problem in utero and went through numerous open heart surgeries after birth. I want to thank the family for inviting me in to capture this extremely difficult time.
Photographing these sessions are never easy and simply pale in comparison to what these parents are going through.
May we remember are blessings every day and be thankful for all that we have.

The definition of Grace truly represents my sentiments of that day:
Grace – the influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them.
This little girl touched so many lives in her short 9 months….
